RoHS Compliance
From 1st July 2006, KSM products will be marked as RoHS compliant or RoHS exempt, under the "Placed on the Market" exemption.
The extent of this declaration is limited to the above listed products where specifically manufactured for or on behalf of KSM Ltd. It is given upon the basis of a similar statement of RoHS conformance acquired by KSM Ltd from the manufacturer. Occasionally it may be necessary for us to seek out an unusual source where a previous guarantee has not been given. Under these circumstances we endeavour to seek certification or similar to cover each product. If you are unsure about the status of any product please enquire at the point of ordering. During the course of natural stock rotation some products supplied up to and beyond the July 1 st deadline may not have been tested for RoHS conformance. These products are excluded from the Directive under the ‘placed on the market’ exemption, the definition of which can be found at: http://europa.eu.int/comm/enterprise/newapproach/legislation/guide/document/1999_1282_en.pdf.
KSM reserves the right to supply these products without prior notification where no formal agreement has been made.
